v9 Dashboard Converter tool is resetting query datasources to default names

Description

When the v9 Grafana instance has multiple datasources of each type, the converter tool is resetting to use the default instance and not honoring either the original datasource name.

After converting, import prompts to pick a datasource. I’ve got multiple options and pick the second:

 

After importing, the panel is showing it’s source as the other datasource:

see the linked SUPPORT ticket for a v8 json attachment. Can run it through the converter to get the v9 output.

is it possible to get dashboard Json for both the v8 as well as v9 after conversion and choosing a datasource? Thanks.

Pulling into refined backlog, as I know that several key users roll with multiple sets of data sources.
