Unable to filter Entity DS from a nodes() variable

Description

When using an Entity datasource to to get a list of nodes via nodes(label), this can't be used in an Entity datasource query to filter based on the nodeLabel matching the selected variable.

Expected outcome: a single or multi value nodes() variable should be able to feed into an Entity datasource query.  This applies across Alarms, Nodes, and Outages queries.

SNMP Interfaces, IP Interfaces, and Monitored Services do not currently offer node-level filtering, which would be beneficial to customers wanting to display information regarding a selected node.

do you have an example of this? I’m able to create a single or multi-valued variable $nodeLabel with the Entity DS query nodes(label) and then make Entity DS queries on all selections (Alarms, SNMP Interfaces, etc.) and filter by that variable.

I noticed this is from 2022, maybe it applies to v8 only and is fixed in v9?
