create "link" between semantic map and enlinkd topology map

Description

the semantic topology maps are great to drill down into organisational/location structures, like select a country, region, city, building, floor, room, rack.

On the other hand enlinkd topology maps are great in showing the physical/logical connections of the network.

Enhancement Request: there should be the possibility to drill down in the semantic maps to let's say a building, then set the focus for enlinkd on all (or, if easy, also only on selected) devices in this building (or whatever semantic object selected).

When you then change the view to the enlinkd map,  all those devices selected by the focus should be displayed with semantic zoom level=0 (to avoid including a BIG network in the view causing a lot of wait time)

QUESTION:
> Finally, I want to be sure and clarify that what you mean by "semantic map". Are you referring to an "Atlas Map"? In other words, a map that you defined using our GraphML implementation and provisioned into OpenNMS?
RESPONSE:

Yes, that's the map we plan to use for drilling down into organisational "layers" and the enhancement bug is made for this. I didn't know the name "Atlas Map" up to now.

FYI:
Our internal customers (Helpdesk, Network guys etc.), request to be able to drill down by example to Customer -> City -> Address -> Building -> Floor. But than they want to see the links between the nodes there. I think the Atlas Map would be the perfect solution for them.
Thanks for the Update of the bug priorities, I would define this as an "Architectural Enhancement" as it would be a small step for the programmer but a great step for OpenNMS )

Thanks and keep up with your excellent work
