Long ago I wrote a tool that ingests event / alert definitions in the format used by CA Spectrum and spits out equivalent OpenNMS event definitions in XML format. It's languished in the opennms-tools project, shielded from architectural and build system changes. A client recently unearthed it and asked me to see about bringing it back to life, which I've done. This issue exists to document that work.
