Manually creating a newSuspect even does not generate a device service scan

Description

Manually creating a newSuspect event by either by going to Configure OpenNMS -> Manually Add an Interface or by the cli command of send-event.pl --interface <ip address> uei.opennms.org/internal/discovery/newSuspect does create the event but the service scan never happens and the interface is never added.

, please have also a look in . If the event parameter "location" in the newSuspect event is missing (which is the case, if you use the WebUI and click on "Manually Add an Interface"), Provisiond does add the node. If you set the location parameter, the node will be added correctly:

send-event.pl --interface <IP> -parm 'location Default' uei.opennms.org/internal/discovery/newSuspect

Can you provide any more information about this? There should be provisioning logs when Provisiond handles the events that would indicate a problem.
