observations related to "ping".option in topology page

Description

Navigate to Topology page enable "auto refresh" from the menu, right click on a node & select "PING"::

a) Enter "number of requests :: 20" and click ping, but it sends only 8 ping requests. (screenshot atatched)

b) remain in the "ping" page for approx 2 mins. It is observed that, whene ever a auto-refresh happens, it repeats sending the PING packets again.

This issue should be fixed, when https://opennms.atlassian.net/browse/NMS-8043#icft=NMS-8043 is fixed as well.
