OpenNMS going mad when sending event uei.opennms.org/internal/eventsConfigChange

Description

Hi,

This is the second time today that I try to update an event's definition and send the uei.opennms.org/internal/eventsConfigChange event to apply the change, and that OpenNMS starts eating all my CPU.

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
15729 root 20 0 878m 508m 19m S 99.8 25.3 15:49.81 java

root@opennms:/etc/opennms# ps -eaf | grep 15729
root 15729 1 24 15:21 pts/1 00:15:59 /usr/bin/java -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/usr/share/opennms/lib/endorsed -Dopennms.home=/usr/share/opennms -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=18980 -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Xmx256m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -XX:MaxPermSize=128m -jar /usr/share/opennms/lib/opennms_bootstrap.jar start

root@opennms:/etc/opennms# strace -p 15729
Process 15729 attached - interrupt to quit
futex(0x7f007841a9d0, FUTEX_WAIT, 15852, NULL

stopping OpenNMS doesn't work, I have to kill -9 the offending process
