Discovery Save

Description

Hi,

I am running the new version 1.62 on a Dell PE 2970 and all looks fine
except that when I perform an add to the discovery configuration screen and select save and restart - the Java exception error is the result. It happens every time (not intermittent) and it is consistent not matter what IP address or range is provisioned.

I see other bug reports from early revs but no resolutions are apparent.

Is there anything to solve this?

Thanks

M Baker

This bug is due to an onclick event handler on a "submit" input. I think IE never fires the onclick event on submit inputs. To get better compatibility, you should always use the onsubmit event (which must execute a function that returns "true" for the submit to actually be sent to the server).

i have exactly the same problem. I will try with mozilla and safari and will make you know.
Thanks

I wonder if anything has recently changed with IE that causes it to break with OpenNMS. I've linked this bug with another: http://bugzilla.opennms.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3015

Hi,

Firefox works - something to do with IE?

Is there some settings I should administer?

Thanks

Mark.
