OpenNMS KarafStartupMonitor hangs on startup

Description

On startup, OpenNMS v34 hangs on the KarafStartupMonitor step.

As of commit 775349bfe0on 2/28/2025, startup is ok. Failure occurs on commit 280c309ee, 3/5/2025. I didn’t try all intervening versions.

I have validated this on my local machine, and when Elasticsearch is not connected or credentials not matched, it results in a runtime error when accessing the Usage Stats page, even though the server starts successfully.

This could be an issue on my system, just would like someone else to do a clean build and see if they have this issue as well.
