New Geographical map UI has a different search functionality that seems to be node based, not alarm based. the Search Rest API seems to always return a list of matching nodes. Although the map could also be filtered by alarms properties like severity.

This would need to be implemented to it filters both table panels under the map (alarms and nodes)

Right now the Filter only filter by node properties. Even alarm severity only return nodes that have an alarm with that severity. This is not ideal since a node can have more than one alarm with different severities, and then filtering by severity won’t work as expected.
