Request a means of user activity accounting

Description

I'm the administrator of OpenNMS at our site, but we've lots of NOC personnel
with admin access to OpenNMS.

I'd like to be able to track user activity, i.e., if a user deletes a node, I'd
like to be able to find who did it and at what time (time is probably already
available in the events table).

I suppose that a field in the events table would be most useful, "relateduser".
That way, I could write front end tools for the NOC, and they could hold each
other accountable.

I am trying to come up with a solution to this as well. I'd like to track user activity (both logging in/out and activity during their sessions).

Do you still need this enhancement? Or did you already find a solution?

This idea feeds into ACLs; we need to beef up our auditing of user activities more once we start partitioning the system up into different user groups.
