I'm the administrator of OpenNMS at our site, but we've lots of NOC personnel with admin access to OpenNMS.
I'd like to be able to track user activity, i.e., if a user deletes a node, I'd like to be able to find who did it and at what time (time is probably already available in the events table).
I suppose that a field in the events table would be most useful, "relateduser". That way, I could write front end tools for the NOC, and they could hold each other accountable.

I am trying to come up with a solution to this as well. I'd like to track user activity (both logging in/out and activity during their sessions).

Do you still need this enhancement? Or did you already find a solution?

This idea feeds into ACLs; we need to beef up our auditing of user activities more once we start partitioning the system up into different user groups.
