Determination and configuration of the SNMP credentials in consultation with the appliance team

Description

We must determine the SNMP credentials we will use and coordinate/support the net-snmp configuration on the appliance together with the appliance team.

Acceptance / Success Criteria

  • net-snmp is installed and configured with correct credentials on the appliance

  • SNMP data-collection works between OpenNMS and appliance

As mentioned in the acceptance criteria on the parent epic, please keep the eventual goal in mind of getting the SNMPv3 credentials from the appliance service as you work.
