Troubleshooting flows: phase 3 (with Nephron)

Description

Add the following to the Nephron documentation (https://github.com/OpenNMS/nephron/tree/master/docs):

Troubleshooting section

  • cross-reference to the flows troubleshooting section in the main documentation (operation/flows/troubleshooting.adoc)

  • specific troubleshooting tasks related to Nephron setup

    •  enableForwarding must be set to true in order to forward flows via Kafka to Nephron.

Leaving some notes from what I noticed whilst setting up nephron in lab for the first time.

Noticed while building nephron project, below module had to be commented out since it was throwing some error, post that it worked, need to check with Devs more on the same.

It would be helpful if we can update what is the latest supported flink with the latest nephron code. I tried flink-1.10.x and it dint work for some reason and then flink-1.12.x did.

Also would be helpful to add in notes that project has to be built and for that Maven has to be installed locally and cd into cloned directory and then do mvn clean package not everyone knows that, might be helpful if mentioned explicitly.

And did not find the prometheus jar mentioned here

Removed from epic, as the Nephron documentation is separate from the main docs, and wanted to be able to close the original epic. This is a standalone task now.
