I may be off my rocker here, but was thinking I could get alarms for the
challenged temptrax probe by creating a bogus nodesysoid and manually updating
the table. Collectd appears to want to be able to retrieve interface count or it
fails. In this case their is no interface data to collect, and ifindex in
datacollection-config.xml is set to ignore.

If this is insane just close it out.
