For example, assuming that we were monitoring the state of a particular BGP peer using pollerd, we would like the alarm triggered by the service outage to have a 'managedobjecttype' of 'bpg-peer', and the triggering event to contain an event parameter named 'bgpPeer' that is set to the IP address of the peer.
We should provide some generic means of accomplishing this.
Similarly to , it should be possible to associate alarms generated by pollerd with the proper managed objects, and make it possible to correlate these as a result.
