Reopening since the managedobjecttype field on the alarms is not actually being populated when these values are present in the configuration.

It should be be possible to set the a value for the managed object type from the alarm data in the event configuration.
With this configuration, the managedobjecttype column for the resulting alarms should be set to "node". The type can be set to any user provided string.
