MX960 Juniper device not collecting physical interfaces from opennms
Description
Hi Team,
Description:
One of our customer is managing MX480, MX960 Juniper Routers in NMS application integrated with OpenNMS. Here OpenNMS polls devices and collects Physical Interface details for all the devices managed.
Problem scenario:
He found a problem if MX960 device IP is configured with "aggregation Ethernet interface (ae0)" , then he could not see all the physical interfaces collected and shown in the application.
However, he has MX480 devices where device IP configured with loopback interface (lo0) and able to see all the physical interfaces collected and shown in the application.
Troubleshooting done:
We did manual SNMP Walk for that problematic device (MX960) configured with AE interface where manual snmpwalk returns all physical interfaces.
Could you please let us know if there is any known issue or workaround for the above problem description ?
