How to Anonymize The Data for Data Transfer

Part of the information we need to provide to the Green Cord.https://confluence.internal.opennms.com/display/PRODDEV/Green+Cord

Research what fields will be sent on the API.  Select which ones need anonymization (hashing, or other method).  Research how to uniquely identify a customer system (installation).  For example, the MAC address of 1st interface (hashed)?
