I’m not sure whether this is still relevant. I later found that my problem was caused by trying to collect statistics for OpenNMS instances other than localhost. There’s likely additional configuration needed to do that.

Collecting only against localhost works.

Can you please provide the relevant parts of jdbc-datacollection-config.xml and collectd-configuration.xml?
